SMS nonwoven fabric (S-spunbond, or spunbond nonwoven fabric; M-Mehblown, or melt blown nonwoven fabric) is produced SMS nonwoven fabric equipment by combining two processes: spunbond and melt blown.This product combines the high strength of spunbond nonwoven fabrics with small differences in vertical and horizontal strength, as well as the high shielding and waterproof properties of meltblown non woven fabrics. Therefore, it has a certain degree of waterproof, isolation, and good breathability, and is not prone to fluff shedding.SMS is commonly used in medical polypropylene SMS nonwoven protective products, such as surgical clothing, protective clothing, pathogenic clothing, disinfection bags, isolation clothing, surgical hole towels, bed sheets, medical masks, shoe covers, etc.

The gap formed between the meltblown non woven equipment of SMS is quite small, which can partially block the infiltration of blood and bacteria, and also has a certain blocking effect on dust and bacteria.However, ordinary SMS cannot completely block alcohol, blood, and oils, and does not have antistatic properties.Therefore, medical protective products made directly from SMS do not yet have strong safety and security performance. Using an appropriate one step one bath process to treat SMS can enable the product to achieve higher alcohol resistance, and have antistatic properties while maintaining its hydrostatic resistance, greatly improving the safety of medical use.

2.Test standards
①.The alcohol resistance test adopts the AATCC-193 standard, with a maximum of 8 levels.
②.The water pressure resistance test adopts the ISO-811 standard, and the greater the value, the better the effect.
③.Anti static adopts AATCC-76 standard, the smaller the value, the better the effect.

3.Description of standards and basic parameters
SMS, SMMS,SSMMS and SMMMS are all composite nonwoven fabrics, which are spunbond and melt blown composite products. Fully using 100% safety polypropylene fiber as the raw material, it is a final sterilization packaging material for disposable medical supplies formed by a layer of bacteria barrier layer and two layers of tensile extension layer.Non toxic, no fiber shedding, high effective bacterial resistance rate; The fabric surface has good uniformity and fullness, and the product meets the requirements of YY/T 0698.2-2009 and EN 868-2. It has the characteristics of bacteria resistance, anti-static, tensile elongation, etc.

SMMS covers all the performance of SMS, and has greatly expanded in the performance of SMS: bacteria resistance, hydrostatic pressure, strength, uniformity, softness, and application fields.

SMMMS can replace pure cotton fabric with a soft, delicate feel and excellent skin affinity. The spunbonded layer is composed of continuous filaments with excellent breaking strength and elongation. The melt blown layer is composed of continuous ultrafine fibers, which has a good barrier effect against moisture, bacteria, dust, etc. It has high water pressure resistance, good air permeability, and good acid and alkali resistance.

Therefore, when selecting products made of medical nonwoven fabrics, it is not acceptable if the packaging is complete. We also need to select products with corresponding standards based on our own needs.
